McGovern Insurance was founded in 1953 by Harold and Paul McGovern. They primarily focused on selling Life Insurance in Carbondale, PA. When the need for home and auto increased the agency transformed into the full service brokerage it is today, selling all lines of Property and Casualty Insurance throughout Northeastern PA.
