Bruce Runkle originally established the business in Red Lion, Pennsylvania as a full service Notary. His grandson, Mark Johnson has been the proud owner of Runkle's since 1995. At all of our 3 locations, we are able to issue registration cards, licenses and stickers immediately. Additionally, the York office is an authorized PennDOT Photo License Center.

Today, Runkle's is a respected, reliable resource for various driver and vehicle services. Our mission is to meet and exceed your expectations!

Dealers Report

Contrary to what you may have been told, dealers do not need to process their own work electronically. Runkle's can do that for you. Our electronic service can save you valuable time and money by not having to purchase the software.

Insurance Report

Serving the insurance needs of over 7,000 individuals, families and business in South Central Pennsylvania. Insurance Services United is committed to providing the same quality service you experienced with Runkle's and has welcomed two Runkle's staff as part of the Insurance Services United team in their York office to help provide a seamless transition. Please note - Runkle's Notary offices remain open and continue to operate from the current York, Hanover and Red Lion locations.

Agent Training Report

For those who prefer the convenience of learning at the computer, we provide the PennDOT Required Basic & Advanced Agent Service Training Courses online. Currently taking a course? Act 152 of 2002 mandated that all card agents, full agents, and messengers sign contracts with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT).

Employment Report

You will be able to complete Runkle's employment application, upload your resume, and complete our pre-employment assessment. All information will be delivered directly to our Human Resources Department upon completion. Our Human Resources Department will review your application upon submission and contact you if an employment opportunity is available that matches your skills and desired position.
