Worst Customer Service EVER! Joanna told me my Father should NOT have died during his policy. WTF kind of insensitive comment is that? Both Joanna & Deanna would talk over me, and spoke only in insurance terminology. When asked to define the terminology, they both got angry, & blamed me for their incompetence. So if you want to verbally abused, then seek out these two horrible women at the Pleasanton Location.

All I can say is Wow, in a bad way. Today I called my agent to cancel my long time auto policy, as I found the same coverage from AAA for $150 less. The bill for my existing policy is not due yet, it is due in a few days. I timed it this way purposely so as to cancel the policy after it had run its term. The agent tells me be sure not to pay the bill, and my policy will be shown as canceled for nonpayment.

I said, it's not for nonpayment: it is by my request to cancel a service that I no longer desire. She said, well since it's so close to the due date, it will be shown as for nonpayment: that's the only way it can be done. I was thinking, the only way? Or the easiest way for you? Seriously? I don't want to be listed as cancelled for nonpayment.

I am requesting the cancellation. I asked her, how would it have been handled differently if I had canceled in the middle of the policy? She said they would've refunded my prorated payment, minus a 10% charge! wow this new bit of insanity distracts me. I asked her, is that even legal to charge me to cancel my policy? She said yes it's legal, otherwise we wouldn't be doing it. (I didn't even broach that statement, as lots of businesses do shady things until someone makes them stop) Seriously?

I told her all of this information assures me that I will never do business with this company again. All she said was OK thank you. The whole conversation has me very angry. And just like that the positive experience I've had dealing with them for years, is reduced to 2 stars. *just called her back to get email address for the company because the one listed on website doesn't work.

She said yeah, that email address is invalid. I try to engage her again to make sure I'm not misunderstanding something here. She interrupts me a few times and at one point asks ME to quit talking over her. What? I do see another reviewer complains about being interrupted. At one point she says she doesn't need to take my abuse. Wow again. Anyway the only email address she can give me is her own. I was really hoping to direct some feedback and complaints to someone other than her*

This was downright the most rude and insane experience I've ever had, I've never felt so taken advantage of in my life. I signed up my home and auto policy through this broker and received a bill in the mail for a back charge with zero explanation of what it was. Naturally, I called out of curiosity and asked them to explain what it was for.

The first person I got was essentially yelling into the phone trying to talk over every word I said. What she said did not add up dollars and cents wise and she wasn't going to listen to that. She promptly said, i'll have so and so call you back and then hung up the phone. Shortly after I received a phone call from another woman, who did the same exact thing. Tried to convince me of the reason I got charged and told me I was wrong for thinking I was over charged.

The phone call ended with her saying multiple times we don't need your business and finally her finally agreeing to call the insurance company. Once she returned my call, she figured out that I had been over charged and she was completely wrong. Do you think she admitted anything or was apologetic? No of course not, she again told me she doesn't need my business and I'm welcome to go elsewhere. Folks watch out for people like this, I've never even taken the time to write a review until this day because it was that bad.

I've been meaning to actually start reviewing for a long time, but it turns out that it's not a cool restaurant or great massage that motivated me to finally start, but an insurance company. I just got off the phone with them, and once again, I was amazed with the quality of their service. I've gotten my car and rental insurance from them for many years, and every single time I've had contact with them they have gone above and beyond to get exactly what I needed done quickly and easily. That is so rare these days I had to Yelp it. Cheers to them!
