This agency used to be called Mother Lode Insurance and was easy to deal with but was then purchased by Cumbre. Once they were acquired the service went off a cliff. They do not respond to repeated calls or emails, do not carry through on change requests, and you cannot get hold of anyone. The receptionist will answer sometimes but generally you just get a voicemail that no one ever returns. STAY AWAY from this agency. They are clearly overwhelmed and will cause you nothing but aggravation.

I have worked with this insurance company for six years, have been through multiple agents as people leave the Shingle Springs office. Recently I asked them to cancel my auto insurance as I found my own MUCH better rate (50% lower). I filled out the cancellation form, sent it over, and then a month later noticed my premium auto-deducted from my account despite thinking the policy had been cancelled.
When I emailed and called to try to get it resolved, I got no response. Another month went by and another monthly premium was deducted. Now I'm out more the $1000 and still no answers from this company. I did get someone on the phone who promised to take care of it, but that was a week ago and no follow up since. Terrible communication, no effort to actually broker a better deal for me, the client. All around bad experience.

They have NEVER called me to go over ins or renewal. I have had for years and I'm so mad at myself. I really assumed they took care of me and not just themselves. I worked marketing for Farmers so I know they are handling things poorly at this office. They just take your money and don't care about the client. Your only $$ to them. Not a client. I was eligible for Good Driver Discount and they said I wasn't but when I called Esurance they said I was.
So now I am saving $122 a month! Crazy how much they don't care and make YOU pay what they can get out of you. My family now changing Insurances too cuz they aren't happy with them too. If I could give ZERO stars I would!
