Don't waste your time! Maggie Malone took a while to answer my initial request for quotes (multiple days longer than any other insurance provider I requested quotes from), didn't pay attention to my request to be contacted by email, kept emailing/calling me with excuses for her delays and ultimately didn't even end up quoting my 7 policies after waiting 2 weeks. To top it off, she finished off our interaction with a couple very unprofessional emails. Hoping this review saves someone else a bunch of wasted time.

This is a high quality insurance agency that prides itself on customer service. I recently moved all my insurance business over and couldn't be more happy with my agent Nancy Vogel. Taggart has consistently provided us with incredible service for over 6 years. We believe that the "heart and soul" of that service comes from a Taggart representative named Fran. She provides us with remarkable ("above and beyond") service. Her responses are always prompt, her answers are complete and Fran "translates" the insurance language so that we feel confident with her explanations. Fran has, on numerous occasions, personally assisted us with difficult situations. We couldn't be happier and we are very impressed by the service and personal care offered by Fran and Taggart Insurance!

We have gotten our property damage and liability insurance through Taggart since 1986 and have been very pleased with their service. Due to a recent premium increase from our long term carrier, we asked Jackie to identify alternative companies. She did a terrific job evaluating options, working out details with us, and making sure all of our questions were answered. We are now with the new carrier at a 20% savings.

I transferred 8 personal policies over to Taggart recently and worked with Maggie. She's been fantastic! She walked me thru each policy, suggested revisions, lowered my cost, and made the entire experience pleasurable. We just returned from a holiday vacation and found our house and car insurance in our held mail and it was due in 2 days. We really wanted to review our coverage and decide if we needed to make changes. The documentation in the mail was comprehensive and intimidating, so we called Taggart Insurance and made an appointment to talk about what coverage we needed and to pay our bills. Maggie Malone was very friendly and helpful.
She went through our house and car insurance with reviewing the coverage we had. We made a few changes and paid the bills on line. Thanks to Maggie, this was easy and very pleasant.

DO NOT USE TAGGART INSURANCE! They have been charging $1,300 too much each year for insurance by insuring our commercial building for $2mil in replacement cost rather than for $1mil (the true replacement cost of the building). In addition, their customer service is horrible. During the renewal period I did not receive a response to my email. request (to have them search for a lower rate) for 32 days!
To make matters worse, when we cancelled the policy they charged a 10% cancellation fee even though it was one month after our renewal, mostly due to the 32 day delay. I have never written a negative review for a company before but felt I had to in this case.
