I worked with Miranda to insure my house and car, and she has always been very helpful. In particular, for the car insurance, we had originally selected one policy that required me to install a monitoring up in my phone in order to get a discount. We didn't know at the time that my phone was not compatible with this app. After calling the insurance company 4 times, and re-installing the app 3 times, the insurance company simply told me "Too bad, you can't get the discount". Miranda then got involved, talked to them several times, and convinced them to let me keep the discount even without using the app. Thanks to her, I was able to save 10% of the annual policy cost.

What can I say except Shane Secord is a miracle worker. I came to him with a very serious insurance dilemma. After an attic fire, my insurance company dropped my policy in the middle of a big loss claims process putting me between a rock and a very hard place. I had already been turned down by two other insurance brokers. Though my initial claim would still be covered, my ins company must have known the rebuild could not be done without a policy to satisfy my mortgagee company. Insurers don't insure heavily damaged houses without a firm date for start of construction.

They had slow walked the decision to rebuild or restore over a 3 month period. I suspect the ins co plan was to offer a cash settlement for much less than the value of original policy. Thanks to Shane I'll never know. He found a new insurer for me and helped me meet every one of their requirements. Construction process begins in three weeks( finally got ins company decision to begin a restoration). Shane worked very hard to make this work and provided helpful guidance in other areas of this process as well.

I've had the most wonderful experience with Miranda. I messaged this business on yelp on a Saturday and they messaged me immediately saying an agent would call me on Monday. She called me Monday morning and shopped around getting me the best deal and sent me a quote in an hour. Everything was so easy and smooth. Miranda was so fast with everything!

Also a few days later I had to change the date on my policy. I tried to do it through the insurance company chat but they said they couldn't do it. I called Miranda and she was able to do it in 10 minutes. So, so happy with the service.

I consolidated my insurance policies all through Secord Agency a while back. Shane set me up with excellent recommendations for my home, auto and businesses. MetLife is one of the insurances I have and they are an excellent fit for my needs. However, because the MetLife system doesn't provide any information online, I have had to call the Secord office numerous times.

When I need to breakdown my monthly payment into the various properties covered or research payments when I'm doing my taxes, I end up calling the office. I feel like a pain in the neck doing it. But they ALWAYS are gracious, helpful and pleasant! Excellent customer service! Moving my policies to Secord was a really good decision. I know when I have questions or need help, they are always there.

Let me start by saying ITS BEEN GREAT WORKING WITH SHANE! We've been a long time customer with Liberty Mutual which raised our premium substantially. We've tried to get answers with the local agent we were assigned to, who was unprofessional & unfriendly to say the least so we started to look around for other insurance options. After explaining our situation, Shane provided us a great price for our business insurance needs & was very understanding with our best interest in mind.

I am not a current customer, but I called randomly one day based on the Yelp reviews here. I was not disappointed! I wanted to get some extremely general information about insuring a home in a floodplain. I am currently house-hunting and some of them have been in floodplains, so I wanted to understand costs. Other companies I called, were intent on gathering my data, even though I explained repeatedly that I just wanted generalized advice/info.

These other companies insisted that I had to give them specific information so they could prepare me a quote. But I just wanted some high-level information - I don't even have the house yet! At Secord, I got transferred to Devin, an expert on insurance in floodplains. He gave me all the info I needed, patiently answering my questions. He even sent me a followup email summarizing what he said and giving me helpful contact information for related real estate issues. I was really impressed and know where to go for all my insurance needs now!

Wow - what amazing customer service! Being new to Seattle, we are thrilled to have found Secord Agency! We have set up our renters and automotive insurance with Secord and are extremely impressed with their customer service, kindness and follow thru. They need to work on their email relay and consistency of their members. I contacted them and got a response back within a day. I replied but then it was 4 days of no response. We needed auto insurance before we picked up a new-to-us car but couldn't get a response from them from Tuesday on into the weekend. I know they're busy so I thought they would get back to us soon, but ultimately we couldn't proceed so we lost our bid to the car.

This isn't my first unsatisfying run in with Secord service. My first one was with an ex employee who I was told later couldn't read or write properly so our personal information jotted down was incorrect. Like our names were misspelled.glad the guy was fired but how was he hired in the first place?!

I don't give out 5 stars very often, but Bryce Bull deserves it and more! He has been amazingly easy to work with, incredibly responsive, and helpful in answering our 9,000 questions regarding switching to new home, auto, and rental policies. Bryce provided quotes quickly and the rates were so stellar, it was a no-brainer. He worked with us to get us the best/biggest discounts and was so goddamn speedy.

In a world where people typically lack a sense of urgency to get things done, this was MUCH appreciated and highly valued. I can't recommend Bryce & Secord more. The service, knowledge, communication, and entire experience was seamless. If you need insurance, this is the place!
