I first spoke with Joseph who gave me three different quotes to look at. He was so helpful to answer all my questions. After hanging up to discuss with my husband which travel coverage we wanted, I called back and Joseph was not available at the time so Rey helped me to purchase the desired insurance. She also was very helpful and answered any questions I had.

She sent the information to my email. After finishing that call, I received a call back from Joseph to make sure I had been taken care of. Both people were so friendly and pleasant to work with. Wonderful customer service!

Unfortunately, same experience as most people here. My wife filed a claim for a covered expense in February of 2022. We have submitted all required documentation to the company and followed up multiple times. It makes no sense that it should take this long. We have always bought travel insurance and o Lu had to use it one other time many years ago.

On that occasion we were reimbursed quickly. Not so here. @trawickinternational, what is going on? Do you realize that some of your customers can't afford to float a $1500 claim months at a time? I'll be happy when we get the money back, but at the same time if we weren't in a position to pay the additional expenses ourselves and wait for months, what would we do? Do you pay credit card interest for people who have had to carry a balance for months while they wait on you?

This is the best travel insurance company we have ever used! Each time we need to make a change, it is easy to email them & our updated document appears in our inbox within a day. When we have to cancel a trip before using the coverage, assuming we have no expenses, we get a prompt refund of our premium. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately, I did not pay attention to the negative reviews about this company and trusted a "best travel insurance" list. I'm in the same boat as so many others - claim filed with all proper documentation for a covered expense, cannot get replies to emails (website says will receive reply within 48 hours.), and multiple phone calls sitting on hold for hours with no answer. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

It seems they are only helpful when you want to BUY their coverage and not actually USE it. I've used World Nomads successfully in the past and should've never veered to another company. I guess I'll follow suit as others and file complaint with BBB and FTC to hopefully save others from this company as it's easy to see they don't care about customers who actually need help.

If anyone with @Trawick can help (and it's a long shot I know) I'd be willing to update my review. UPDATE - I don't know if it was posting here that expedited my claim, but I got notification my claim was processed the very next day. I also left a message with the automated service and someone did call me back later in the day. I would hope it doesn't take a negative review to get things done, but I wanted to update my specific review to reflect the full course of events.

I do think they are understaffed and need more people to answer phones. Also, the website is confusing when checking your claim. Mine said processed but I was informed by the very nice representative that it was actually under review. Maybe an update to the online system would save a lot of phone calls and aggravation.

Excellent customer service! We had to cancel our cruise trip for this year unexpectedly and decided to book another cruise trip for early next year! We emailed our request to have the travel insurance premium be transferred to the newly booked cruise. We received a reply from Kathleen Wilson within an hour. Not only she was able to help us to change/upgrade our trip insurance policy, the cost of the new policy is lower than the quote we received from an insurance website.

We truly appreciate the excellent service from Kathleen Wilson, a Trawick International Customer Service Representative. We highly recommend this company and will continue to be their loyal customers!

We had originally purchased a travel policy for a 2022 cruise. Because of the current European conditions we cancelled the cruise. We got a refund from the cruise company. Unfortunately they charged a small cancellation fee and that caused the travel policy to not be eligible for a refund. Kathleen worked on the account and was able to move the policy to a cruise that we had booked for 2023. We had lots of questions and she was able to address all of them. Very good service.

We have been traveling internationally for over 15 years and have used various insurance companies depending on the tour company we were with. Our first experience with Trawick began in 2019 with a 2020 tour including the Passion Play in Germany. The tour was postponed due to Covid, and the dates were then changed twice. Trawick transferred our policy to the new tour dates with no problems. Unfortunately, just in time for travel to resume, I have developed a medical condition and will not be able to travel on this tour in 2022.

With no hassle at all, Trawick refunded our full insurance premium within a few days of being contacted about our cancellation. Trawick by far has been the best travel insurance company we have dealt with. They are very efficient, reasonable, and easy to work with. If we are able to resume traveling we will not hesitate to use them again.

I bought travel insurance for my parents who visited US. While in US my father got sick spent few hours in the emergency room. The hospital submitted claim on the travel insurance. They submitted every document necessary for the claim. It's been 3 months now and I have received no response and looks nothing got covered yet. I have sent many emails requesting a status update.

I have spent many hours on hold waiting for anyone in customer service to pickup the phone. Based on the other reviews, I feel like the claim will never be paid. @Trawick, please help!

I filed a claim in September 2021 and provided all the information requested. I was able to talk to someone in November 2021 who said they were dealing with a COVID backlog. I am not able to login to their website because the website says my information doesn't match their database. I tried to call customer service again and was on hold waiting for over two hours before I had to hang up.

So after submitting a claim in September, its now January 2022 and no information available about the status of my claim after writing two different emails and contacting through their website. Will be contacting the Department of Insurance as soon as I figure out which state to contact.

I have sat on hold over the course of 2 weeks and have yet to reach a customer service representative to figure out the status of my claim. This is ridiculous! I have submitted all the necessary paperwork and only received an email back with all the contact information and copied me from the email sent out to the team. I would please like a call back with a status update.

I paid my money for insurance coverage and now I'm unable to utilize it due to poor customer service. I'm not sure how to get in contact with anyone from this business but I am trying to give you a chance before I report this unprofessionalism to the Better Business Bureau!
