Our staff has tremendous experience in placing some of the largest and complex worldwide programs to cover physical damage and business interruption risks for energy facilities, equipment and stock (along with coordinating millions of dollars in claim settlements). To reduce a client's ultimate premium cost, we strive to combine effective loss control engineering risk assessment (insurer and/or independent engineers), with a logical program structure.In addition to this, we apply our very thorough Energy Insurance and Reinsurance marketing capabilities (to infuse as much competition as possible into any program).
Some of the most critical (and complex) risks currently facing energy and other heavy industry companies, are those emanating from environmental liability exposures. Where others try to utilize "off the shelf" programs when placing an environmental pollution program, we differentiate ourselves by our Environmental Insurance programs representing "cutting edge" risk transfer options negotiated in great detail with Environmental Insurers and Reinsurers.
Petro-Chem offers it's full range of Energy Insurance expertise to international and multinational clients. Depending on the risk and situation, we can function as either a Retail Insurance Broker working with Multinational Insurers, or as a Reinsurance Broker (by offering Facultative Reinsurance, of a risk for a local or Captive Insurance Company).
Each of our staff members has an individual energy insurance broking experience of at least 26-years. We work equally well with both large and small Risk Management staffs, and also coordinate activities well, when a client's intra-company departments are involved in a project. We have a highly personalized approach to our business and our firm never accepts a project that we cannot commit our full resources to.
