Our History Report

Filer Insurance was founded as an insurance and mortgage brokerage business in 1919, by pioneer Miamian, Henry H. Filer. Henry H. Filer, an education advocate, was elected to the Dade County School Board for 16 consecutive terms, 12 of them as chairman. West Hialeah Junior High renamed the school to Henry H. Filer Junior High in 1956, in his honor.

Agree 100% with "n harbel" review: Terrible service once they get you to be their customer. They will do nothing to help you lower the premium, based on their advice it seems they prefer it to go up, as they likely benefit from it doing so. Saved over $5000 on insurance premiums once we found a different agent. Should have changed agent sooner.

Mark A.Bluh is a knowledgeable agent who knows his business. When there are issues with your claim, he represents you, he talks to the adjusters personally and he helps maximize the policy benefits/coverage. He doesn't work for an insurance company, he works for us, the customer.
