Walter L. Williams, Jr. formed Walter Williams, Inc. in 1962; this was a real estate and personal lines insurance operation. In 1972 Bobby Walton joined Walter Williams, Inc. as the only full time insurance staff member. Mr. Walton became a partner in 1974 and the agency name was changed to Walton-Williams Insurance, Inc.
