If I could give 0 stars I would. I'm not one to immediately give a bad review but something has to give. Waited a month expecting the check in the mail. only to find out it was sent to the WRONG ADDRESS! Not worth the headache on top of a heartache!

These people allowed my grandfather to overpay over $10,000 of his insurance policy and refuses to give family the amount of overpayment. They were of no assistance in this issue, I advise you get your policy elsewhere.

Don't work with these people! My grandma passed and this company was no help. She has a policy that she was paying on for a year by the way! That stated that she can receive immediate death benefits. Please do your research before working with any insurance company. These people stated she can't get the benefit until after 2 years. No one knows when their gonna die. These people are taking advantage of seniors!

My mother passed away a year ago just now getting the policy paid out. This has to be the worst experience of my life they don't communicate with you just prolonged at every turn almost like they was trying to find a reason to not pay out please don't waste your money here.

The agent from this company sold my elder parents a policy telling them they were required to have it, telling them it was a mortgage insurance and that if they didn't use it they were reimbursing their money back to them. He came on a day my parents were alone and encouraged them to sign, he set up auto withdrawal with my parents card, and we didnt find out till years later my parents were being taken advantage of from this company.

By that time, they were charging my parents 10 times more the original monthly ammount. I called to cancell it and they said it wasn't even a mortgage insurance, it was a life insurance and and they didn't receive any money back. Worst company fraudulent and unethical.

I would like to say to all of you that were or are being screwed over bye this company you need to contact the federal trade commissioner and put in a claim to have this company investigated. I'd like to say you'll get your money back but, I'm not sure how that works. But, if they are lying and stealing your money The federal Trade commissinioner with stop them from doing this to anyone else. Good luck

After completing a telephonic application for a term life insurance policy with an independent agent, an American-Amicable employee joined the call for additional medical screening questions. At the end of the process I was told my application was denied. The insurance agent was apologetic. Within 3 days, American-Amicable drafted my checking account for the first premium for coverage, which they denied. I am waiting for my $75 refund.

0 stars! I wish I would have done my RESEARCH on this company to see how they already treated other people, before inviting this lying agent into my home. This agent called on behalf of my mortgage company, quoted the closing cost of my mortgage and presented a disability insurance, so I wouldn't lose my home. Come to find, out months later, she sold me a term policy that didn't even mention disability.

She seen that I already had a term policy worth 3 times as much as their policy, at a third of their cost and even put that policy information on my application. I wrote 2 complaint letters requesting my money back and they refused. The agent lied to me in my home and in her dispute letter. I sent proof of her lies and they still refused to give me my money back. DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFOREHAND!
