I worked with Michael Forster in updating my home and auto insurance policy. He went the extra mile with me by explaining to me my current coverage and his recommended coverage. I especially liked working with Michael because he has the heart of a teacher and makes sure that I was educated on exactly what I was spending my money on. Even when I told him, I'm sold, he still made sure to explain the rest of my coverage. Also, my home insurance reduced by 50% and my coverage was increased. We have used Maranto for years for auto & home insurance. Joelle is amazing. She got a homeowners claim settled in our favor, by knowing exactly what our coverage was.even when the insurance company overlooked that part of my coverage & were ready to deny the claim. We were extremely grateful!

Bill Hourigan has been my agent for years and he and his team have worked to always obtain the best coverage on all our property and vehicles. This Agency is top of the line--the very best. You cannot go wrong working with them!

Filing a legal suit against Maranto Insurance. William Hourigan refuses to cancel homeowner's policy at my request, which has no mortgage on it and thus no lender obligation. This is ILLEGAL AND CONFIRMED AS ILLEGAL THROUGH LEGAL CONSULTATION. William peddled the line "standard procedure" is to not cancel a policy unless proof from new insurer is made, however, while best policy and legally required on homes with mortgages, this is NOT LEGAL for homes without. Became unprofessional and rude over the phone once I told him this.

At one point he had claimed he was not canceling the policy with "period and end of discussion." This legal claim upcoming could have been prevented had William Hourigan followed the law. He chose not to and I hope Maranto understands who it has representing them and the upcoming litigation this will occur. I also have documentation on current coverage which has remained unchanged since 10/30/20 incase any additional illegal activity occurs where William attempts to change coverage without my consent. UPDATE 3/20/21: Jackie from Maranto was extremely professional and courteous and prompt in my handling my cancellation request. An experience completely unlike my profoundly unprofessional experience with William.

Would adjust to 5 stars if William was no longer a part of Maranto. As a result of Jackie's handling, I no longer have any legal claims to a suit and thus will not be filing.

Recently, Joelle was able to save me approximately $250 on my auto policy while keeping all the same limits! Joelle has also been a great advocate and liaison when I have had the unfortunate need to file an insurance claim.
