Founded in 1939 by Keith D. Peterson, we have grown to become one of the largest independent insurance agencies in Louisiana. At the heart of the company is a team of highly experienced insurance professionals who represent more than 700 years of combined insurance experience. Keith D. Peterson & Company has provided insurance coverage for all facets of the wood products industry through insurance agencies and brokers since 1939. We are an open brokerage company with no territorial limitations. Over the years, we have served as both Managing General Agent and Underwriting Manager for the carriers we represent, enjoying mutually beneficial and prosperous relationships with these companies.
