My home is insured with Southern Trust. On Memorial Day weekend, I had to file my first claim in over 16 years. From calling the claims department late on a Friday before the holiday weekend to getting a call back from my claims adjuster on a Saturday to get the process going, Southern Trust has provided superb service beginning to end. I have been part of the insurance industry for many years, and seen the good, the bad and the ugly along the way, I highly recommend anyone looking to get quality coverage to contact them before the next renewal. Their claim service is definitely 5 stars. Exactly what anyone needs at the time of the loss!

Going through an auto insurance claim process right now and have been assigned Anetra Mays. She has an attitude and is rude like I'm causing her an inconvenience. I'm sorry I thought I was the customer that helps keep Soithern Trust in business. If only I kmew how to request a new claims person. Always have had good experiences with Southern Trust but not this lady!

You will probably save money with them, but they do everything they can do dodge a claim. I had hail damage on my roof according to a roofer who actually got on my roof and accessed the damage. They sent a claims adjuster to access the damage and all he did was fly a drone over the roof and said there wasn't any damage. When the roofer asked to meet him here and go up on the roof to agree or disagree no one would return his phone calls. Jeff Duke is the main guy at Southern Trust, and Steve is the drone flyer who said my 16 yr old roof looked pristine. As soon as this is over I am looking to get away from these shysters.

Excellent response time to my accident, really good communication and they paid for the claim immediately. Best car insurance ever.and their rates were the best in the first place, which is why I chose them.

I have had home owners insurance and auto insurance, with 3-4 vehicles since 2014 with this company, haven't filed ONE claim. Always paid for both insurances yearly. The first time I have to file a claim, I get very unprofessional service. The "adjuster" comes out after I had a roof inspector send me 100 pictures of damage to my roof from tornado/storm damage received.

He used a ladder and actually got on my roof to inspect. Obvious wind and hail damage, that the roof inspector took pictures of. The "adjuster" from southern trust comes out, flies a drone over my house and leaves. No call before or after. No communication. I had to call, to get someone to return my call two days later. The adjuster calls me, and notifies me that my roof is "fine" maybe 4-5 shingles damaged but I would be responsible for that.

No help to me from southern trust at all. So I contact the person above him, and he states that I should get with modern technology and that the drone let them know that my roof damage was from a storm in 2016. Never even stepped foot on the roof. I told him that the roof inspector had taken a lot of pictures of the damage, he informed me to send him the pictures in a pdf file via email.

That was a waste of time, the pictures clearly show storm damage and it still didn't change anything. The tornado went right behind my house and there are numerous houses all around me receiving a new roof due to the storm damage. What am I paying for in "insurance" if any kind of coverage is refused?

My 1st Home Owners claim in 30 years and I get no response. All of a sudden a small check shows up in the mail. HVAC got struck by lighting and blew out the AC and the Furnace - only sent a check to replace a compressor with no explanation or estimates after a certified HVAC professional verified lightning destroyed both units. Also, had 1 auto claim they have failed to handle and still getting collection letters from CCS after I was told they would handle it and follow up and this has been over 6 months ago and only a $700 subro request? Place needs new management.

They denied our claim for roof damage and turned around and made our policy non renewable. Been with them for 5 years and not a single claim. Don't waste your money with this insurance company, when they have a claim, they will drop you. Go with someone who is there to help when you need it most not drop you. Now other insurance companies wont pick us up with a damaged roof due to storm.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. This review is specifically about the Macon, GA branch. I have NEVER been so disappointed to have to work with a company before. The company itself is so small, only one person can access your claim's information. THEN, they assume that you need to resend each piece of information throughout the claim process. Their client hit me during the Thanksgiving holiday.

They couldn't get in touch with the client. I sent the pictures, information from the company I chose to fix the damages to my car, the amount of the bill, and everything I was asked to Lauren Christianson in early December. It is FEBRUARY and she is just now allowing me to get my car fixed. On top of this, a WEEK ago, she sent the check for my car to the body shop AND DIDN'T TELL ME until I sent an email nicely explaining my frustration with her and the company. Did I mention that she was out of the office for 3 weeks and no one bothered to take over my case? I am NOT happy. Do not use them for your insurance. If you are so unfortunate to have to work with this company, you have my sincere apologies. Good luck.

Worst experience ever. Thomas Dotsikas and Jessica refused to answer any calls or emails or work with any of the medical billing personnel from multiple organizations who attempted to contact them even for an update, much less lack of payment. I was personally sent to collections because of this and they refused to pay a dime until I settled, which of course they did not advise me in any way because the refuse to communicate.

They downright refuse to answer calls or respond to emails. Clayton was helpful in the end, after I demanded to speak with a supervisor, and the only associate from the organization who even provided me with information. If you want zero customer service, poor treatment, unpaid bills to go to collections in your name, and to support an organization that treats people terribly, choose Southern Trust. Otherwise, there are plenty of other options where you can take your money and be treated at minimum with some respect and correspondence.

I have Used this company for years to insure my clients. Very solid company and pleased with the claims adjuster in our area. I have clients that moved up from South Georgia to Clarkesville and Specifically requested Southern Trust because of the experience they had with them in the past.
