We'll give you evidence that your insurance has been bound by the new carrier; do all the paperwork and send a letter to your former Agent informing them of the change.

It's Insurance Agencies like this place that give Insurance a bad name. I called to get a quote for a car I was looking to purchase at 9:30am and gave the agent my information to which she replied she'd get back to me. Having dealt with these people for years with my current car and also my house I thought I'd hear back within the hour. was I ever wrong.
Four hours later after not hearing from them I attempted to call back to see how they were doing only to hear the phone ring and ring. After many rings a machine came on basically saying they were too busy to answer the call and to leave a message and they'd call me back which I did. After 3-1/2 hours and 4 return calls on my part trying to get a response I finally gave up and called a new agency.
Ten minutes later I got a call back as promised and they got my account, for now its just my new car policy but when it comes to renew my house insurance Elliot, Whittier, Hardy and Roy will probably be losing that as well. After 30 years of my family doing business with them I expected more. I am happy I found out how slow they are to respond before I actually needed to file a claim, if it took that long to try to open a new account I can't even imagine how long of a delay it would be for that to happen. UPDATE: 27 hours later Julie called with my quote. it was double what my new insurance company charged for the same coverage. BUYER BEWARE
