On the positive side, IRS came to address our burst pipe damage right away. The team was very personable and worked quickly. However, I can't recommend IRS as they did a lot of excessive work which turned out not to be necessary (ripping out walls, ceilings and floors) to create a larger bill telling us to "relax the insurance company will cover it". But in the end, the Insurance company covered very little of it and our largest expense was the IRS invoice.

I cannot speak highly enough of the IRS team. I had a residential disaster due to a neighbors gas fire/explosion that also destroyed much of my home with fire, water and smoke damage. My insurance company assigned I.R.S. to handle my recovery and I couldn't have been in better hands. Charles M. the IRS estimator worked closely and continually with NJM to ensure the project was properly planned, approved, funded and on schedule. John F. was the IRS Master Craftsman and General Contractor who delivered a completely restored home / infrastructure that passed all township inspections without any problems. I highly recommend I.R.S. especially if you have a nightmare of a disaster to recover from.

IRS was the ONLY good thing about a massive sewage backup into our finished basement. The crew showed up immediately, fully prepared, and had all carpeting and affected walls out in 3 HOURS. They were so clean in the surrounding areas, so careful to not contaminate anything along the way. They hauled it all away. Then they cleaned, disinfected, and - my fave - deodorized the whole thing.

After my whole house smelling like that, it was instantly gone. They left behind high-powered dehumidifiers to complete the dryout for as long as it takes. If you've ever had this happen you know what getting this done fast and right and safely means. Most of all, they were the funnest group of guys. Because you need that when you've had a house of.!. - with kids in the house. Tom, Victor, Will and David - we owe you one. Failed to show for a job scheduled weeks in advance, with no notice. When we called to find out what was going on, we were told they were "very busy". Work was eventually done, and we were told IRS would provide a quote for additional clean up and repairs. Again, IRS failed to show up on scheduled date to provide an estimate. When we called to reschedule, IRS told us they were now too busy to do work they originally discussed. IRS's inability to keep its commitments significantly delayed our project.

A poorly maintained home heating oil system at my uncle's place resulted in a nasty oil spill which they did not know how to handle until and unless they called in IRS Restoration to take care of the problem in a professional manner.
