I worked with an employee by name Dan. All around my claim was pretty stressful and took nearly nine months before I even got to see a penny. But in the end without Dan I would have I would of been lost on my own and I know I would of been denied my claim. I was constantly getting updates from him. He has a great work ethic and makes for one hell of a public adjuster.
Not only that I felt very comfortable and he was very confident when it came to my claim which really helped me overall. In the end I got everything owed to me and my house rebuilt after a nasty house fire. I am very thankful I had Dan leading the way when it came to my claim. I HIGHLY recommend Brown and O'Haver if you need help with an insurance claim! Thanks again Dan!

I have been working with karen for over a year. She has been very persistence with my insurance company sending emails and phone calls keeping me updated on what's going on not daily but enough to know shes still working on it. It took a year to get our money but without her I wouldn't of had anything to fix my house. Thank you so much for taking this case! And getting me and my family our house back to normal.

I have been a client of this wonderful Public Adjuster company and have been pretty lucky and impressed to know such a great company with such wonderful and professional people who work and represent it such as my wonderful PA, Ms. Karen Williams. She is one of the most wonderful PAs and people out there who has been so kind and professional in helping my family and me with my home damaged insurance claim from beginning to end; helping and being there for us every steps of the way.

I am very shocked by the low rating of Brown O'Haver. The two reviews I read are nothing like my Boyfriend (Steve) and myself's experience with this company. I have been through every step of this with him so I can speak and have his permission to do so. From the very beginning Karen at Brown O'Haver and always called when she said she would and always kept us up to date on the progress of the case.
No communication issues at all. Steve's home burned in June 2018 (fire started by a teenager playing with fire burning several homes) a total loss. State Farm insurance has tried to cheat him at every turn even after he lost everything. Insurance repeatedly denied bids on new home, no reimbursement for additional living expenses, no reimbursement for belongs lost.
No communication from insurance company and repeated adjustor changes. Our repeated request to insurance company went unaddressed. Decided to hire Brown O'Haver and things started to happen right away. Insurance wanted to pay $16,000 for a rare Hummer valued at a little over $40,000. This company ended up getting him the full value of his Hummer.
Insurance only wanted to approve $100,000 to rebuild a 3 bedroom house (not possible) and would not budge. Company ended up getting Steve the full amount to rebuild at $192,000. The home is now in the works, We are not done yet as the insurance is still fighting other items but Brown O'Haver is dealing with the crap from the insurance so we don't have to.
He has suffered enough by losing everything and so not having to deal with the insurance helps. Karen at Brown O'haver is currently working on getting his rent and stuff is paid by insurance (Additional Expenses) as the insurance is not wanting to pay. Then there are his personal belongings that the insurance company keeps saying Steve didn't turn but we have receipts from State Farm showing the information was submitted directly to their system that they required him use. Karen at Brown O'haver stepped in and got them (insurance co) to start working on his belongings but already the insurance company has refused to pay for several things, unfairly depreciated the value of his belonging and are trying to depreciate his antique items and new items which is not allowed.
Again trying to cheat him. So Karen will take care of all of this without Steve having to deal with even more crap from the insurance. We are confident that Karen at Brown O'haver will get him the full value of his belongings as she has done with everything else. Brown O'haver has made it possible for Steve to finally start to rebuild his life instead of being stuck in limbo or being cheated by the insurance. Brown O'haver reached out to me after I had a house fire. I am glad they did because I didn't even know there were public adjusters for insurance companies. They let me know everything that my insurance company should do for me, like setting me up in a rental house and paying for it or giving me a monthly allowance for living with a family member. Karen Williams has been a great help dealing with my insurance company so I didn't have to.
She is making sure the insurance company pays for anything that I got coming. She has always answered my calls in a timely manner and has kept me informed and up-to-date on where I am with my insurance company. I will write a updated review when everything is settled with my insurance company to show how much better it is to use a public adjuster instead of fighting the insurance company on your own.

I spoke with Karen Williams on several occasions. She made appointments to come to our home to discuss our case. She postponed repeatedly with numerous excuses and no regard for our schedules. Said she would get back to us next week. I waited until midweek. No response. I text her a polite reminder asking if she might refer me to someone if she's too busy. No response. The lack of reviews and the (1) review, now (2) being negative, speaks volumes. I hope you find a reputable company. Maybe even recommend them on here. Cheers

Your memory goes when you have a house fire. It's impossible to remember each item you own. Brown O'haver was AWESOME! Thanks to their incredible and methodical inventory skills, we were able to get over $300,000 for our contents. We worked for months trying to remember things and without Brown O'haver, we would not have been compensated properly. Jennifer combed through all our property with burned out and falling walls/floors/ceilings. Simply amazing.

We as insured don't know what we don't know! My loss with Metlife went from 12K to 60K in a few hours! That was just for the physical damage to the home. You must must call if for for nothing else to get the "lay of the land" (perspective) on your loss and help utilizing all of your insurance. The insurance company is not your friend. I received so much helpful advice and counsel which made the time out of my home during the process of the claim so much more comfortable. Unfortunately in this world "might makes right" the first step is to recognize the insurance company (and their corporation) is mightier than you (and I) are.

I emailed this company after a sewage back-up into my house and was hoping for some help with the claim. Well.1 month later I finally got an email from "Karen". I called Karen and left a message with the receptionist.apparently they do not have a voice-mail system. It's 4 days later and I have yet to get a return call. If you need help with a claim.think twice before using this company.
