Prescription Drug Plans - This coverage may help to lower prescription drug costs. This coverage is an insurance. Most people will pay a monthly premium. Private companies provide the coverage and like other insurance; if you decide not to enroll in this drug plan when first eligible to you may have a penalty to pay if you decide to enroll at a later date.
People of all ages with End-Stage Renal Disease (permanent kidney failure requiring dialysis or a kidney transplant). Helps cover inpatient care in hospitals and skilled nursing facilities. Part A also helps cover hospice care and some home health care. Most people don't pay a premium for Part A because they or a spouse already paid for it through their payroll taxes while working.
