Reid is an upstanding individual and a great insurance guy. You can call him at all hours and he always answers his phone, even at night on the weekends. He's always able to get quotes the very same day and it's always the lowest price. Some have told me that he will even pick up your payment to deliver it to the insurance company if it's late. Don't hesitate to call Reid right now, he will solve all your insurance needs.

These guys keep on billing my freind even though he told them their services were no longer needed but I guess anyone can create a bill and say they offered a service and charge you for it. I know how to write maybe this is the new billion dollar idea. oh no wait ripping people off has been happening forever. If you like paying for paper bills these guys magically create please get ripped off by these guys you will feel awesome.

Layne Funai had been our agent for a number of years before we lost both our homes in the 2018 lava flow. Layne is very personable and became a friend. He has experience having also been an adjuster, so knows how things work. We're so glad he'd made sure we were well-covered, not only for the loss of our homes but also for loss of personal property, loss of use of our home, and loss of rental income.
We definitely felt that he and the insurance company had our backs. Layne told us what we needed to know to prepare detailed claims. Once we'd submitted them the company came through with our full coverage amounts in a timely manner, with no argument.

I am a Licensed Family Childcare Provider. After a recent training we were concerned about our current homeowners policy covering us despite a separate liability coverage. Reid listened to my concerns, and explained our policies and the possible difficulties of new policies. He suggested that we just increase our current coverages and add on business property coverage. He was so helpful and friendly!

I have had Reid Higashi as my agent for several years now. Whenever I needed a copy of my insurance policy to be sent with additional insured holders added, he and his assistants were able to get those out Pronto! We have had NO ISSUES with getting quotes and information on what worked best for my food business. Business Insurance is a one-stop shop kind of insurance company.
I was able to insure my business, auto and my worker's all through Reid Higashi. All emails and phone calls if I wasn't able to get an answer right away were returned within that day if not within the hour especially from Reid. He is very thorough with the paperwork and makes everything easy and understandable if you don't know insurance lingo.
My business has shut down because we are moving but transferring to the new owner was seamless and all paperwork was done efficiently. If ever I move back home and start another business, Reid will be the only person I call! Trust me, he's honest and upfront. He won't try to sell you something you don't need and we need more people like him in his industry. #TeamReidHigashiAllTheWay

Reid has been very helpful over the past month in helping me to find a better insurance rate than on the mainland. I really wanted a local insurance agent rather than dealing with someone who is six hours behind me. I met Reid through BNI and although I left the chapter because I got too busy, I kept him in mind. He has been very thorough and I look forward to having someone local I can call for all of my questions.
