I used this insurance for one of my houses and my business. They were very helpful to me after I have a fire in my store. I loved them for my business insurance price was reasonable and I had great coverage. The house insurance is expensive and didn't cover much. Unfortunately, it is just the situation for that home. I would definitely recommend them.

After being told there was nothing my former insurance company could do for me about the extremely I price I was paying for insurance, I walked into the Meredith. I went without automobile insurance for quite a few years under the assumption that it was unaffordable. I decided to reach out and see how "unaffordable" it was. I contacted a few different insurance companies, Melcher and Prescott being one and they were able to get me great automobile and renters insurance at a amazingly affordable rate! I. unfortunately had to use my automobile insurance but it was a great experience for such a stressful situation.

I would not recommend this company at all. We just bought a home in NH. My sister recommended them as that is whom she has for insurance. They asked me some questions and said they would have a quote within a few days. I called a week later."we are still working on it." They emailed me a few days later saying they would have numbers for me by end. of day, never happened.

I called 3 days later, asking about the quote they promised me three days earlier. "Sorry we do not have that for you yet." Seriously.? They called back that afternoon saying "Sorry we can not cover you." We have never had any issues or claims on our current home. We pay our bills, we take care of our property and we try to do the right thing. Companies like this do not care about the people it serves. My sister is looking for someone else. Melcher and Prescott have been my insurance agents for over 4 years. I insure my car and my motorcycle with them. Every time I need to go into the office they are very helpful and prompt. Thankfully I've never needed to call them with a problem but I know if I did they would be there for me.
