1 star rating. The whole process started out good until I realized the "copyright" content I paid for was merely canned and used in other websites. When I decided to cancel, their customer service will not respond and they have no number available for the department that handles cancellations. Seems they are dragging things along so I have to pay another monthly fee. They also have a 30 day cancellation, which nobody disclosed.

I subscribed to FMG about a year ago and when it came time to cancel their service, I couldn't. Apparently when you operate from misinformation by the company, you are still responsible. I was told that my site subscription went from the 28th of the month to the 28th of the month even though the billing started at the 20th. Because I called on the 24th, I was required to pay for a full month that I hadn't even used yet because it is in their.wait for it.
Terms & Conditions. My alternative was to be sent to their 3rd party collections and not pay the 59 bucks. I spoke with Austin and Darren. Their answer to just about everything was.yep, you guessed it.it's in our Terms & Conditions. That was a lot of fun.

My website was very slow to prepare to launch (combination of my fault, a 7 month delay before the State approved my RIA, and the delays causing FMG to lose interest). They charged me for the basic website development and also their enhanced marketing suite for the entire time (which doesn't work if your site isn't launched). I paid roughly $1,000 in enhanced marketing services which they cannot provide if your website is not launched.
Their customer service response was that they were covered since I'd signed their contract stating "regardless of website being live or not", but they would give me a discount (not specifically stated) on my next bill. When we were finally ready to go, I was then surprised at a new "If you are ready to Go Live, sign this next contract" from them changing website design to an hourly fee.
I ended up doing the site myself (it was basically a similar process as working with FMG on design and content). It looks very similar (not quite as nice, but close) and I have full flexibility to change and adjust as my business changes without having the FMG charges or hassle.

If I could give this company a negative star rating, I would. Do not expect actual design work or wisdom. They basically use templates, slap what information you give them into the template, are unable to do anything creative (unless you move to their custom plan). Our site went live with buttons that don't work and missing information. Excuses for the poor work are abundant but ridiculous!
