Read some of the reviews and I'm amazed. I've banked at First Fidelity for almost 10 years. There are no fees for checking. You have no fees for atm you get reimbursed for charges at non fidelity atm's. On the occasions I've overdrawn, they've provided overdraft coverage didn't know I had. Anytime I've had an issue I get a call from the manager (Hayden greenway).

Maybe the folks whining about location and hours don't have their app to take photos and make deposits from anywhere. Low fees, great service. Anyone here complaining should be forced to be a Wells Fargo customer. Great bank.

Went through the drive-thru to pay my loan payment today. The teller ran the transaction and I started to drive away, however I looked at the receipt and saw it was dated for 2/12 not today's date 2/10. Since my payment was due today I went inside to have it fixed as I did not want a late fee if it came down to a prove it situation. There were only two tellers and neither had name tags.

Once the one who was helping me finally called a manger at another location I was given a number to call on Monday and told they'd probably waive the late fee. Having worked in the banking industry I understand working on split days, but know that the receipt must also show the actual date the customer came into the branch. The tellers were rude and acted annoyed even tho I was the only person in the lobby and there was no one in the drive-thru. This is the 2nd incident I have found where First Fidelity has tried to attach a late fee to my loan when the account has been paid on time.

This bank blows.your money! I opened a minors savings account for my 9 year old son in May 2016 at the 19th Ave branch granted it was only $40 but it was just to get him started and teach him the lesson to save for a rainy day. Imagine my surprise today when I received our quarterly statement and the account balance is now $9.01. If they had a minimum balance requirement the personal banker should have communicated that, especially since she knew this account was for a juvenile.

They charge a $5.00 a month "maintenance fee" plus a $2.00 statement fee and we have received a whopping $.01 in interest. If taking a child's money makes you feel good First Fidelity keep it because you obviously need it more than he does. Oh, and I will make sure none of my family and friends ever does business with you again. And the only lesson he learned was to never trust anyone with his money!

Worst Bank in the Valley! Especially the Arrowhead Location. First Fidelity is riding on the coat tails of Sunrise and Mesa Bank which were what they advertised "Small Community Banks". Worst customer service! Customers are treated with snotty, arrogant, employees that will bend over backwards to make your banking experience miserable! Don't be fooled by the staged community bank rhetoric when you sign up.

You will soon discover that they charge for everything, they do not contact you personally if you have an issue, they are not secure with your money. If this is your bank, you need to grab your money and get out now!

As I like a local bank, when my bank was taken over by First Fidelity (over a year ago), I transferred my accounts to another local bank in the Phoenix area. I was recently surprised to find a 'What Does First Fidelity Bank do with your Personal Information' letter in my mailbox. When I called, they told me that all my accounts had been cancelled save one.

While my personal checking account had been closed, the line of credit on it (overdraft protection) was still open. Seems somewhat ludicrous to me that a bank would keep a line of credit open for over a year when I cannot access it because the underlying checking account was closed. Hence the low rating. It is obviously a bank error and perhaps something which the bank could have rectified on its own.

The fact that they did not is the basis for the low rating. If you use them and decide to leave for any reason, please make certain that they close ALL your accounts. Thank you.

I have been with First Fidelity for 20 years at this branch and it is the best at customer service. I love the live person help on the phone, the longevity of many of the staff and the over all 'user friendliness' of this home town feeling bank. I wouldn't dream of banking with any other bank in Arizona.
