I have been a customer of this insurance group for 5 years. Every payment they sought was always made on time. Recently, I called them because another insurance agency offered me better rates. I called them to say this and to request a discount given the challenges with the pandemic, as well. When I received a return call from the woman who worked at DC Insurance Group, she was extremely condescending and discouraging.
She also told what I believe is a lie. She said that there is no way they can provide or look into a discount. She used a stuck-up tone. And she also said that they have no control over the price, and that this is all decided by my mortgage company. I know that is 100% false because the mortgage company allows me a choice of which provider to use for insurance.
So she basically lied to me to get me to stop asking for the assistance. I can't believe this is how they treat loyal customers who have paid on time for 5 years. I would be very careful before going with them if you are in the market for insurance.
