Browning Insurance Agency, Inc is one of the oldest established insurance agencies in the state of Florida. The agency was founded in 1907 by L. D. Hathaway. In 1932, Alfred McKethan purchased the agency from Mr. Hathaway. Ed Browning joined the agency in 1954 and moved his family to Brooksville from Durham, North Carolina.

I am SO impressed with this agency! On one of their busiest days, the owner took the time to look up my father-in-law's policy and call me back! Unfortunately the policy lapsed when he died and the double-wide could not be insured due to its age. However, the owner took the time to try to help me obtain a policy and was VERY kind and understanding. He went above and beyond his responsibilities on an already busy day!
