We've used this place for several years starting back when they were called Burt Tax. They were always helpful, spent time discussing our situation and maximized our return for us. This year, our normal guy Jonathan left and everything changed. We dropped all of our tax information off more than a month before tax day. We had zero communication from anyone.
We had to keep calling to find out where things were and half the time our calls weren't returned. We had no sit down with anyone. No one asked us questions and nothing was reviewed with us. Finally, the Friday before Tax Day (Monday), we got documents in our inbox to sign. My wife's name was spelled wrong, some other things were unclear and our bill jumped from $260 the previous year to $375 this year with no changes to our tax situation. So, now taxes are due in a couple of days and we're stuck. So, I called and spoke with the owner Nathan.
He told me that they "dropped the ball" on communication and that things shouldn't have gone the way they did. I told him I wasn't happy with the service or the 30% increase in price and that we wouldn't be using them any longer. He said if we stayed he would reduce the price, but not if we left. When you tell a customer that you've dropped the ball, you do what you can to make it right.
He wasn't concerned about making things right, he's only concerned about next years bottom line. Stay away from this place, they don't care about their repeat customers, they're definitely not going to care about you.

I love that I can get my taxes, insurance, and financial advisement all completed under one roof. They have saved me time and money. Their communication and follow through are fantastic. They have a great team that is a pleasure to work with. Jeff, on the financial advisement side, is extremely knowledgeable and I'm very satisfied the results and returns that I'm getting.
