I have had many insurance companies before. Most, if not all were pretty awful experiences. Bates Insurance Agency has never let me down. They have been nothing but supportive in the past year that personally for me has been complete turmoil and havoc. Christopher Swanson, in particular has been a God send. This man has helped me in more ways than one.
He truly goes above and beyond customer service requirements. I have recommended all my friends and family to him and this company. Although some don't go with him, the ones who have are ecstatic. 100% will never switch agencies solely off of the experience I've had these past few years with Chris.

Chris Swanson from Bates insurance is one of the best around. Chris goes above and beyond what I would expect from any agent in the field. He makes everything painless and easy, while getting you what you need at a reasonable rate. While being extremely down to earth and trust worthy, Chris is also one to get down to business and handle things in a timely and professional manner. Chris Swanson advised me on my insurance needs and was extremely patient and professional, especially after I must have called him a dozen times with questions. I can't imagine that other reviewer having such a bad experience. I was shopping my auto policy around and spoke with other agents but found Chris to be the most informative. I even ended up bundling my homeowner's insurance in and it wasn't even due for renewal for a few months, but after Chris went over figures for me, I ended up saving about $400 between the two policies. His response time was quick, informative and pleasant. I would give him a call if I were you!

I contacted Christopher Swanson to see if he could save me any money on our homeowner and auto insurance. I was with Progressive and thought that I was getting a great rate with them. To my surprise, Chris came back with a huge savings for our homeowners and auto insurance. We made the switch from Progressive to Bates Insurance which he made seamless.

Chris has been nothing but efficient. He's the best insurance agent I have ever dealt with. He's quick and professional. Got a quote in less than 10 minutes. The best thing about dealing with Chris is he willing to go out of his way to help your every need. He's an experienced and well mannered agent with extreme proficiency. I wouldn't deal with anyone other than this man and this agency. 100 percent recommend! Honest work from an honest man.

Switching to Bates Insurance was very easy and smooth. All my questions were answered, at times to the point of information overload. Christopher, the agent who helped me, is a walking insurance policy encyclopedia. And the question he didn't know the answer for he researched and got back to me with the answer lighting fast. Christopher is fantastic at following up with his clients.
In the few months I've been a client, Christopher has called me a few times to make sure things are well with me. He always closes our calls with "please do not hesitate to call me at any time day, night or weekend should I have a question or insurance need."

Spoke to agent named Christopher Swanson when I was searching for insurance for my 1997 mercury. Although i ended up going with liberty mutual for financial reasons because I am a single mother Chris was understanding professional and took the time to answer all my questions when he knew money was a struggle. Would definitely recommend Bates insurance to anybody looking for quality insurance where they can actually get ahold of an agent Bates is the place!
