If I had a choice of 0 starts that would be my rating! Came to my closing and 1 hr later I'm still waiting to sign off on my house. 3 people came in to the room one of them them the owner! To offer me to leave go have a lunch! Come on people I didn't come to NEW MEXICO LAND AND TITLE TO HAVE LUNCH! I came to sign my documents they keep throwing the ball at each other with my lender and the people here. my lender told them she sent everything since yesterday!
What is the wait? I understand one of the lady's is sick totally understand that! But if you want to run a business you need to make sure someone is there available to continue any transactions pending! Horrible horrible service if you are thinking of purchasing a house please consider someone else and not this mediocre company.

This company is by far the worst title company in Albuquerque. We have a real estate team of 3 people, and have daily had to email the title team at NMLT multiple times a day between all of us, call the office where nobody ever answers, and physically had to go into the office to track down our title officer. just to get answers for time sensitive information for a closing that needs to be coordinated with out of state buyers.
I expect professional treatment in the industry from all providers on a contract. NMLT is incapable of professional communication for some reason, and I hate that I am forced to do closings at this office by the listing realtors that require it. Please change! We are on track to probably close late, and it is the title company's fault entirely, at this point.because they just won't communicate with us.
They won't respond to our questions regarding final closing amount, and we doubt a mobile signing for our buyers can be arranged now at this late time. We are beyond frustrated. And there doesn't seem to be any way to reach the people at the top in order to deliver this feedback in a timely way to help make a transaction smoother.

The blonde lady with glasses is NOT wearing a mask to greet clients at the front desk but enforces it on everyone else even when I am vaccinated. She claims it is because she doesn't leave the front desk but yet she greets and walk in and out of the front and back to escort everyone in and out of the rooms?! Does not make any sense. Wake up and own up to the guild lines you are so motivated in enforcing upon others.

So many poor experiences here, the very worst being when one of my sellers were forced to close with NMLT by the buyer. NMLT did not send out the payoff to my Sellers lender until approximately a month after it closed - causing my client to pay nearly an extra mortgage payment! The buyer said my seller would save about $400 on fees with them. At the end of the day it cost them much more due to this.
The ownership is very aware of the horrendous hurdles we have had there and understand completely why I am not at all comfortable closing there. Of course, as a broker our clients choose title insurance provider not us, but I think this is very important to point out to them when making their decision.

Critical: Professionalism, Responsiveness Avoid New Mexico Land & Title Company at all costs if you need your closing to take place. Wasted time and energy is their specialty. I will never use this title company again. Always interesting to see how these companies treat customers during a hot market.

I do NOT recommend this company. Our closing date has already passed by two days and we haven't even signed yet. One of us works out of state and has missed work without pay to sign and they keep pushing it further and further back. We've had to call and put a stop on our utilities being transferred multiple times already. This company has been nothing but a headache.
