Allen Insurance and Financial has looked after our family finances since the 1980s, when our employer, Down East Enterprise, launched its 401(k) program with the Allen Agency. Since then, the company has shepherded us personally through financial crises from the dot-com bubble to the pandemic and Black Monday, Black Thursday, Black Friday and so on. Whatever Wall Street and the White House may get up to, for more than 30 years Allen Insurance and Financial has done it right.

Reviews should never be written while angry or upset. My review of the Allen Agency was written while in a bad mood. However, the response from the Allen Agency was prompt, courteous, sincere and responsive. Therefore, I have modified my review and comments accordingly. Thanks to Scott Carlson, we will continue to work with the Allen Agency in Camden, Maine and encourage others to do the same and make sure they stay with the agent who originally signed them and continue to provide feedback both positive and, if necessary, "instructive".
