Services
Marysville Mutual has two Homeowner programs to insure your home and personal property. Our Homeowner policies also provide liability protection if someone is injured because of your negligence. Numerous optional enhancements are available under both products. The Preferred Homeowner program is for newer homes that are insured for 100% of replacement cost.
The cost of additional living expenses if your home is damaged and you have to live elsewhere during repairs. You need enough insurance to cover the cost of rebuilding your home at current construction costs. Don't include the cost of the land. And don't base your rebuilding costs on the price you paid for your home.

I dont have words. Ok one.ineptitude! Prices are decent, but it comes at a cost, excuse the pun. I have never fingers crossed, needed to make a claim and that is primarily what it boils down to. The most important reviews would come from those have had that experience. They seem legit but again inept. I somewhat wonder if one was to walk into an actual office, would I be greeted by a room full of nine years olds in badly cut suits!

They completely gave me the biggest ran around of my life. Every year the cost of my yearly home insurance keeps on going up. Also did some claims on my insurance for only asking questions about my policy. Now I have to wait years before I am able to switch insurance because of open claims not authorized. They do what is in their convenience not what is right for the customers

This is a very helpful, friendly company. We moved from another town, and had a disappointing experience with our previous company. We have been with Marysville Mutual for quite a few years, now, and I love their staff. They have filed claims efficiently, and have helped answer any questions we have regarding coverage and claims.

We're definitely NOT impressed by this company nor with Salt City Insurance who suggested this company. Their 40%+ depreciation rates don't cover anything that is expected to cover mortgage collateral. So definitely read your policies and make them explain them before signing anything, making sure you get FULL RECOVERY for damages. Cheaper definitely doesn't mean better!
Amazing how businesses have the luxury of not only charging double or more for the mortgage itself, profiting from that venue, forcing people to have insurance coverage for the collateral, forking out thousands of dollars profiting from that as well, with little to no explanation to what is actually being covered. Then to turn around and drop your policy after years of paying for coverage because of certain things in your home, or because you're not spending hundreds or thousands for painting, siding, heat/air etc. Furthermore, when you need to make a claim, barely a quarter of what you pay for is actually even covered, making the consumer at fault for not spending thousands of dollars more to get different coverage. So again READ YOUR POLICY, before you end up paying thousands of dollars more out of pocket expenses for what isn't actually covered.
