In 1982, Gordon Insurance was founded with the objective of trying to become not the largest Independent Insurance Agency in the Washington, DC metro area, but one of the most creative, offering policies and programs that would best suit the varying needs of its diverse customers. Agency owner, Solvin W. Gordon, does not believe that to be successful means to advertise heavily, have a large staff, or pay for Class A office space.
