After retiring and settling permanently in South Bend, Chauncey established the Davis Insurance Agency in 1953 in the offices of the Ogren Building. Son James Davis came to help his father Chauncey in 1957, not only with the Insurance business, but also with the new Cascara Processing Plant that Chauncey ran until 1972.
The staff of Davis Insurance has over 100 years of combined experience as licensed agents. We offer earthquake, landslide & flood coverage. Davis Insurance is licensed to sell insurance in the State of Washington and is also licensed with several of our carriers for the State of Oregon. We put in an full value offer on their property in Ocean Shores. Property was listed at $139k we were putting 75k down from our HELC and doing a conventional land loan for the remaining balance. But Ms. McNamara refused the offer because she wanted to close sooner. Seems to me that she just wanted a bidding war. If she just wanted a cash out then her listing should have said cash out only. Most unprofessional realtor we have ever dealt with. We would recommend that you choose any other company but this one.
