When we bought our house, we suddenly realized that we needed to get it insured asap. We frantically called around the area agencies and Jan picked up. She stayed late in her office until we could get there and saved us from a frantic first night in our wonderful new house worrying that catastrophe could happen and we would have no coverage. I've been working with Bartz/Rumery for home owners insurance for 20+ years. There is a huge difference between dealing with people who know your name and will make time for you verses a big bureaucracy that immediately puts you on hold for half an hour. In that time I had one property damage issue that they not only worked with me on, they helped me find the repairperson to do the work - because they are local they know the community. Five stars.
