Bonnie Huck immediately responded to my husband's call when we needed to reinstate full insurance coverage on our seasonal vehicle. A Certificate of Insurance was emailed to us directly after the call. We've been with the Larkin Agency for over 25 years because we've always gotten that kind of great service!

I think I'd have better luck trying to get someone in the White House to answer their phone than I have with either of my agents, commercial or private. Trying to cancel a policy is like pulling teeth. I moved last summer and made it abundantly clear that I wanted to cancel renters insurance at one location and start it at another the day of the move, I was charged double renters insurance for the following year. (I'm a dummy for not reading the bills, but I trusted that they could handle a task like that).
Not only that, they left my garaging address for my car at the previous location which is $500 more expensive per year. I had to call Auto-Owners' underwriters to finally cancel a commercial policy after a week of calling Larkin multiple times a day. Long story short - you can get the same or better customer service, and much cheaper rates with Progressive/nationwide (no matter how annoying their commercials are)

I have tried calling my agent numerous times and she is never available. I am constantly talking to her service person who has actually told me she doesn't like talking to customers and that the service person is actually the one doing the requests I ask for. So why do I even have an agent. The service person is very nice and helpful. They should make her the agent and get rid of the lazy agent that doesn't want to take any calls.

I started doing business with Josh at the Larkin Group in 2013. I was in a huge bind at the time as my homeowners insurer decided to drop our coverage after having issues with the quality of my roof. I had been scrambling to find an insurer and nothing was panning out. My realtor put me in contact with the Larkin Group and they came through with the coverage I needed.
My agent Josh, walked me through the application process and had me insured either on the same day i contacted him or shortly thereafter. I felt he was knowledgeable and seemed to care about us and our situation. I have since had an new roof put on my house, but in light of the great service I received from the Larkin Group, i have decided to stick with them.
I have periodically had to call Josh for information on claims or small issues with payments, and he has always responded within the same day and answered all my questions. My only reason for giving it a full score is that I feel the price is higher than you get from going directly through the insurance company. However, after going though being booted by an insurer I was dealing with directly, I have see the benefits of having a agent.
