The history of Cox Insurance spans over seven decades of providing the best possible insurance coverage for clients. R.B. Cox Agency, Inc. was founded in 1946 by the late R.B. Cox. Upon his return from World War II, R.B. settled in Ansonia, OH and began working for John Harrison in the insurance and real estate business.R.B. bought the business in 1946 and operated it for nearly 40 years, allowing the company to change with the times, including construction of a brand-new office in 1970. R.B.'s son, Nick, took over the business in the mid-1980s.
