Motorcycles are insured just as you would an automobile and most all of the aspects and sections of the Massachusetts Auto Policy apply. The only major difference is in the section covering Personal Injury Protection (PIP). The driver and passengers, while riding a motorcycle, are not covered by PIP.
Just about any type of boat with a motor that uses state waterways must be registered with the Massachusetts Environmental Police Registration and Titling Bureau. Titling is mandatory for any boat that uses an engine and is 14 feet or longer. Unlike with motor vehicles, insuring your boat is optional in Massachusetts it is recommended that no matter the size or value, you should insure your watercraft. All sizes of boats and other watercraft like jet-skis, should have adequate coverage in case of loss.
