Located on Route 28, off exit 4 on I-495, the residents of Southeastern Massachusetts have enjoyed over 140 years of professional and trustworthy customer service. Established in 1877, our agency has always been a family owned business. T.M. Ryder Insurance was founded by Thomas M. Ryder and succeeded by his nephew, Charles Ryder at the turn of the century.
We represent a variety of insurance companies, to accommodate the needs of our customers. Some companies specialize in certain areas, so we will run several quotes, but may find a certain fit for you with one particular company. We have several standard markets for personal and commercial lines. If there is a more specialized risk, we have several surplus lines markets.
AMost of our companies allow you to make payments online. Your bill stub should have an option to pay online with instructions if it is available. Our team is available during office hours to assist with making a payment over the phone or in the office if you do not have an online payment option, or if you have misplaced your bill stub.

I've had the pleasure of working with Jenny Mason for the past two years and she truly is a phenomenal asset to T.M. Ryder. I switched from a large auto insurance company to her as my agent, and she has truly become a close friend through our time working with each other. Not only did she save me money off the bat, but she also is constantly working to make sure I have the proper coverage and best value for my money.
Even when I moved (which is stressful enough) she made the transfer of my renters insurance flawless. I highly recommend T.M. Ryder and hope every client has the pleasure of working with Jenny at some point!

This family owned Insurance Agency is amazing! Kristi, at T.M. Ryder Agency, did a wonderful job of explaining my auto and renters policies in detail, which made me realize how much more coverage I am getting with her policy while also saving me HUNDREDS of dollars compared to what I had been paying for way less coverage! I highly suggest sitting down with one of their agents, at least to make sure you know what you could be covered for, and how much you would save, by going to them for your auto and homeowners insurance!
