Total lack of concern for my needs. I WAS a client for over 20 years. I asked to "shop" my insurance as prices were raising dramatically. They simply did not respond. Not the first time for that experience. By the way, I'm older, never had an accident, no traffic tickets for over 30 years. They didn't even respond to my request to cancel for nearly a week! Read all of their ratings then do yourself a favor and shop around.

Raises rates without justification or explanation. Over 5 years our rates have more than doubled on home and was almost $800 cheaper on auto when I looked elsewhere. They get you in low and raise the rates on their end hoping you either won't notice or won't bother. When I asked to shop around.oh that is the rate still, others are more expensive. Quoted out on my own and the rates have not changed significantly since 2013. Apples to Apples coverage.

After 20 years with GAD it took getting a new vehicle to see how much we were overpaying. After mentioning we were insurance shopping we were miraculously offered a quote from another company GAD works with that was 1,500 less than we have been paying. WOW! They forgot about my family of four as we became just another policy number. Money driven!

I've used Grant DeVilbiss for all of my personal lines and for several of my business needs for real estate investments for years. He makes it very easy to work with him and takes ownership over the process so I don't have to worry about getting the right coverage. Specifically, we needed specialized coverage for some short term rentals we owned that we were renting on AirBnB. Severa brokers told me I couldn't get traditional coverage, but Grant was able to to find a carrier who could and who were also significantly cheaper than our prior surplus lines carrier.
