We have had Ben Spurgin as our broker/agent for over 15 years. When you have this long of a relationship, there is a bit of trust that comes about. In the past several years though, we have not had the best of service. Delayed or no responses, errors in assets and employees covered. We decided to shop elsewhere and found they deliberately requested quotes for renewal which in turn blocks any other brokerage firm from quoting us. Basically, it commits us to Ben Spurgin or we can pay extra over the premiums to use another agency. What kind of company does this? I am very disappointed in their deteriorating service and unscrupulous practices.
