Horst Group is a fifth-generation company with roots that started in the late 1800s when Joseph Horst constructed a church in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania - where services are still held today. Through the generations, and as other Horst companies were added, a reputation for quality work and dependability spread.

Horst acquired its first independent insurance agency in 1981 - an agency that began in 1917. Today, after several more acquisitions and significant organic growth, Horst Insurance is a leading independent insurance agency with more than 40 insurance professionals working in Southcentral and Southeastern Pennsylvania offices.
