Our company was founded in 1958 by my father, James W. Stickney, III. Much about who we are and how we conduct our business derives from his vision and influence. He started ISA with no money, but he was smart and well connected. He found some carriers who believed in him, and from a room in the basement of the Battery Park Hotel he sold insurance and typed out policies.

I don't even know where to begin on how impressed I have been with Dakota and Debra at ISA, Inc. I have multiple business products with ISA and both Dakota and Debra feel like a member of my team versus a consultant. I was paying more with less service at a different company. When I have questions or concerns they are always there to help me through the process and solve the problems. I am so happy I found these two and this amazing company.

I work for the Brigman Group, a General Contractor and ISA handles all our business insurance needs. We have found their service to be excellent but even more importantly, they work constantly to ensure we have the appropriate coverage. We never have to worry about this aspect of our business as we know ISA has our best interest at heart.

Being a business owner for over 35 years I have had the opportunity to work with many insurance companies in the Asheville area. Although the service I have received in the past has been generally good I would like to single out Insurance Services of Asheville for going above and beyond my expectations in so many ways. Excellent communicators, friendly, attention to detail, listening to my concerns, finding the best value for the dollars and dealing with complex insurance coverage issues.
