We have had this Home owners Ins for 4 years. I just got told they wouldnt renew because of some minor (and I mean DUMB) reasons. Garage needs paint. OK - who cares! (its 12 degrees out, Im not painting now) Missing a 6" piece of soffit - Can be put back in 30 seconds. WHO CARES! We're remodeling, and obviously had to put some projects on hold for winter.
They didnt care a bit! We have been improving this home for 4 years - and it means NOTHING to them. My agent actually said "sorry but you can call other insurance companies". He REFUSED to stand up for us, even though we pay them well. THOROUGHLY disgusted with their service! Will NEVER refer a single soul to them. Now, I will go give State Farm my money. Wish I had done it sooner!
