I've been with them for a few years and I have never had any problems. I'm not the best at remembering when bills are due and they are really good at calling me Before hand to remind me that it's due so I don't have a lapse in coverage. I have also shopped around and so far they've been the cheapest for the full coverage I need. I would definitely recommend

Called minutes before closing and reached there voicemail. But shockingly a insurance rep name Nancy called back and handled my insurance questions as well as get my new insurance policy as of that moment. That's pretty awesome that she was able to just got home and instead called me back and got me all hooked up and back on the road legally. Thanks for everything Nancy

If I could give it a zero I would, and that would be for one of their reps Ted, telling me I can't get a policy with my boyfriend because I'm not the registered owner of his car. We live in the same house, we drive each other's cars and have been told whoever is in the house has to be added on the policy as a driver or excluded. Now I'm being told by someone that I have to get my own policy & my boyfriend has to get his own!?
I've worked in the Insurance company, seems like they need to fire their bad eggs or at least retrain them and maybe put them in a position where they don't have to talk to people.

The worst insurance I've ever heard about. We've been with them for about 5 years, and it's been ok until we actually needed them after my husband got in a car accident. First of all, they didn't even answer the phone on the day of the accident. We were able to make the claim the next day. It took them a full week to get our car appraised at the sight of the accident.
But the appraisal guy, needed the mileage. So we went, got the mileage and found 2 parking tickets! Then the day after, they told us our car is totaled. One week after the accident they said they were FINALLY going to tow the car that day, because now they know it's going to a scrap yard. Here we are, 11 days after the accident, and they call us to ask where is the car. Excuse me?!?!
They said they were towing it 4 days ago. So now a third party is calling to see where the car has been impounded. Accidents are always stressful, but it helps if your insurance is actually competent. I'm so disappointed, I've never seen a company drop the ball so hard. Looking for a new insurance ASAP, I don't even care if I spend more money, as long as they have at least 2 brain cells, we're good.

If I could give no star that would be a better rate! Always gave me problems with my payment. I set up automatic payment still problems and had to pay late fees. We finally get to tge end of the policy period. Now they have no problem getting into my account! I called them they denied it! Gave me the run around! Terrible costume service Terrible experience!

After having a really bad experience with my past auto insurance company I was fortunate enough to come across Sun Coast Insurance. Not only did they save me a boatload of money but their customer service was unsurpassed. A representative named Danny Sanchez went above and beyond to thoroughly help me understand the process and I felt he was personally invested in getting me the best rates and service available.
He was so kind, even as to involve himself in my personal family matters in a positive way which meant the world to me and showed me that I was making the right choice by choosing this company. I can't reiterate enough what great customer service Danny Sanchez gave me, it was such a relief to finally speak to somebody that I know cared about my situation and he did everything he could to advise me and help me throughout the entire process.
I don't have a perfect driving record which made it difficult for me to find reasonable rates but sun coast really beat out all the competitors hands down. I guess you could say I Will be a customer for life not only because of the money I saved but because of the extraordinary customer service I received. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking to improve their current auto insurance situation.

I usually don't write reviews but Danny deserves much more than a review. He is the most helpful customer service representative I have ever spoken to. His patience, thoroughness, explanation and professionalism is top notch, suffice to say second to none. He took out time to explain things to me especially as I am new to insurance, made sure I understood, found the best rates for me and also guided me through signing the documents.
I called with a plan to cancel my policy but Danny did a good job, making sure I stayed. His attitude was everything. Sun Coast, this guy deserves an awards, he is a key player to your customer retention. Thank you Danny! Keep up the good work!
