The agency was founded in 1952 by the late Bernard E. Pedersen who was also State Representative in district 54 for 14 years. In 1994 his son, Edwin B. Pedersen, purchased the agency making it a second generation enterprise.

We have been clients of Pedersen Insurance for many years. Their service is always exemplary. We recently had a total loss claim, the accident being the fault of the other driver, who was a client of State Farm. State Farm dragged their feet in settling the claim. In frustration, I contacted Susan, of Pedersen Insurance, who took over, spent quite some time speaking with adjustors from both State Farm and Safeco, and our claim was then promptly settled.
