Although there are a lot of training organizations out there, SITE is uniquely positioned to help you with your development and challenges as it is specifically focused on training for the insurance industry.
The Society was formed for the primary objective of stimulating the growth and professional development of its members to the benefit of their respective insurance companies and the insurance business as a whole through research and the exchange of ideas related to education and training. Founded in 1953, SITE is a membership organization of training professionals in the insurance and financial services industry.
Being a member of the SITE Board of Directors is not only a great way to give back to the insurance training community, it has professional growth benefits as well. Read on for some real life examples!. As a 'team of one' in my organization, I found it difficult to show management that I could lead others.

Great organization. Have attended their annual conference as an exhibitor/member since 2011. They are a volunteer driven group of well networked professionals that are committed to helping each other to advance within their respective organizations. I've learned a tremendous amount useful information and have made some great contacts and long term friendships with this group. If you are reading this post, jump in! The water is warm.

This is the ideal organization for insurance trainers, in any capacity, to obtain excellent training resources and access to a network of knowledgeable, experienced, and friendly training professionals, training managers and directors. The annual conference is well-designed and delivered, and webinars are excellent. The commitment of the members to helping each other is remarkable. Regardless of your level of training expertise, you are bound to benefit from membership in this organization.
