The Taylor Agency (more specifically Michael Dew) have been my ONLY insurance company for the past five years. They will continue to be my ONLY insurance agency. They handle everything for my family from auto to golf cart to renters (now homeowners) insurance. They are always available for me and always look to save me money. Michael Dew at the Taylor Agency has by far blown away my expectations. He takes care of all my insurance needs and always saves me money. I cannot recommend the Taylor Agency and our broker, Katie, enough. Two months after buying our first house, our insurance company inexplicably terminated service in December. Completely green to the process, I scrambled to find another insurer and was recommended the Taylor Agency to help, and help they did. I had a new policy within a week. Flash forward a few years, and a neighbor's dying 40 foot tree has resulted in 5 or 6 claims over two years.
That insurer issued a non-renewal notice in November of 2019, claiming that we'd exceeded the number of claims without ever previously noting this limitation. Even though we had a claims history that made most insurers wary, we had a new policy within a month and avoided a lapse in coverage due to Katie's diligence and dedication. Flash forward to June of 2020, and our bank has told us that we had no insurance from Feb. '19-Nov. '19, and that they had bought a policy on our behalf and would be paying out of our escrow to cover the costs and increasing our mortgage payment to make up the difference.
I sent katie the letters one evening within 8 hours received a call from her, saying she'd spoken to the bank and received verbal confirmation they were in the wrong and would be refunding our escrow. TRULY AMAZING!
