To acquire an account to access the secure SET SEG member portal for your district, you must contact your district's business office. The Primary User designated for your district's portal (usually the business manager-equivalent) manages all access and can add you as a user. NOTE: The secure SET SEG website portal is NOT intended for school district teachers and staff.
The MASB-SEG Property/Casualty Pool is a member-owned and operated, non-profit risk-sharing pool providing coverage to specifically meet the needs of Michigan's public education community. For more than 35 years, the Pool has responded to its members' needs by providing financial stability, superior service and the most complete, affordable coverage possible.
This year, the Workers' Compensation Safety Program is focusing on one of the main claim drivers in the fund - slips, trips, and falls. Fund members will receive a check in the spring that can be used on any safety items or equipment they feel is appropriate for their school population. However, we have identified six items we highly recommend to all organizations to prevent accidents related to slips, trips, and falls. We encourage you to utilize these funds for items that increase all types of safety and security measures in your district.

We offer a range of consultative, administrative and compliance services to help school districts provide the best possible care options for their employees and navigate the complexities of benefit requirements.
Districts that purchase this service are given the ACA fulfillment service for the distribution of the 1094-C and 1095-C forms. This added benefit handles the printing and mailing, or electronic submission of forms to the IRS and the hard copy form distribution to your district's full-time employees.
