John III was referred to me. He wrote me a policy on two homes, months later i still had no paperwork. John was unaware, no follow through, had to write the policy elsewhere. Apparently at renewal. The bill wasnt sent to the lender, i was contacted, i called John and his father numerous times with no response. I contacted Janet, who handled the situation, however the policy lapsed and now there is a new policy with a higher premium.
Add to this, they didnt have my name correct, my phone number or my correct address. how i dont know. Unprofessional, haphazard and John takes no responsibility, no apology. ZIP.

Over the past few years I have had my home owner's policy with Brinson Insurance and I have had outstanding service from John and the staff at the Brinson agency! Having moved from TN, we were unaware of the rules and regulations associated with insuring homes in a coastal town like Charleston (flood insurance/zoning, wind/hail coverage, etc.) Our agent at the Brinson agency was very much up to date on the latest changes, and walked us through everything we needed to know.
