If I could give a ZERO, I would. They have totally dismissed the small business. They sent letters to small businesses, under 20 and told them if you would like to keep their services, it will be THOUSANDS of dollars a year. They didn't renew our life/LTD/STD On time causing our rates to go from $319 a month to over $900, a month. Their rep schedule a meeting with myself and the owners.
We went to the restaurant she requested, at the timd she requested. However, after waiting 40 minutes. NO ONE showed from their company. I called to make sure everything was okay. She didn't have the decency to even call me back. The list goes on. I worked as an HR manager for another LARGE, multiple location factory. I used McGohan with them. I had no problems.
That is why I went with them. However, I found out they DONT CARE about small business. I was treated like I was bugging them every time I called. Small business STAY AWAY! BIG BUSINESS, if they treat any customer like this, I would consider finding a company that cares about you! NOT just the commission, they can make off your company. Which brings me to my last point.
I was telling a HR manager of one of the large local hospitals this story. She said, McGohan, has us on the worst, most expensive plan on the market. I told her they switched us from UHC to this plan, because we were not big enough, to be on UHC. She said " that's NOT true" you have enough on your plan for United Health Care. It's just they get a bigger commission. If they sell you an Anthem product. Beware. don't learn the hard way like I did. Shop around, and verify what your told.
