We created Mexpro because we wanted to be able to purchase Mexico insurance online before heading to Mexico ourselves. We also saw the need to provide a product you could trust and count on when visiting a foreign country. Since we were already in the insurance industry, it was easy for us to understand the differences between US and Mexico insurance and create a product that provided a simple experience for our customers. We have built strong relationships with the top Mexico insurers, and have created options previously not available like English speaking adjusters and claims agents.

Requested callback for the next morning to answer questions about obtaining new policy. My call was answered promptly by 8:45 am the next day. The customer service representative was bright, cheerful, helpful and represented the company in a very positive and professional manner. Only issue is with the website. Links could be better explained. In a couple of places I was unsure of what to do next and fearful that the wrong action would cancel all of the info that I had inputted and that I would have to start over. Fortunately, that did not occur.

When I purchased the policy the website asked for arrival and departure dates. When the policy got created it was adding an extra day at the end of the term. I had to modify the departure date to match the actual departure date. After I made the payment and read the actual agreement, turns out the term starts and ends at 12:01AM of the departure date.
In other words, the departure date is not part of the term. That is why the system was adding another day to my request but never explains why it does. I had to purchase another policy for the last day and pay the policy generation cost twice.

I have been buying insurance from this company for many years and have fortunately never needed it. On my last trip to Mexico I was hit by a drunken local. Luckily nobody was injured and we were able to drive our car home safely. Since then, it has been nothing short of a nightmare in trying to get any help with our claim. Emails not responded to, phone calls unanswered or a never ending cycle of being on hold (and never speaking to a human) or menu options that go nowhere.
The few times someone has answered when they realized I don't speak Spanish I was simply hung up on. I paid for this service/policy, it turns out it is worthless. If I could give zero stars I would. At this point I feel that the business model is to push you off until you give up, go away and they don't have to pay out a claim. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
