Myra Palmer, president of the Palmer Agency, is an advocate of the life insurance industry. With more than thirty years in the agency she brings knowledge, passion, and experience; carrying on a family legacy that began when her father, Howard H. Palmer founded the Palmer Agency in 1961. Myra has deep respect for the advisors that choose to work with our firm and an ongoing commitment to the growth of their personal business.
The insurance professionals we proudly work with tell us we are expeditious in our response and solutions. We competitively rate your cases from generations of experience and are always transparent. We openly communicate so as not to waste your time and push things over the finish line. The real benefit is giving you more time to focus on your business and the assurance that you have served your clients well. Our team recognizes the unique distinctions amongst the fee-only and fee-based advisors we are privileged to work with.
In memory of Alan Palmer, his family and friends announce the formation of the Alan Palmer Scholarship. A fund has been established in Alan's name at his alma mater, Oxford College of Emory University. You may know that AP was on Emory's soccer and golf teams. As you can imagine, he was very active socially, including membership in the Kappa Alpha fraternity.
Alan Palmer was president of The Palmer Agency for only five years, from 1998 until his untimely death in 2003. While that is not a long time in our agency's history - nor even close to the tenure we expected - his leadership during those years has left a lasting legacy for our company. A legacy of respect for the past, passion for the present, and vision for the future.
